Summary: Roger Lund had been fighting a fire with his crew during the night, on the Wasatch National Forest east of Hill Air Force Base. The next morning, he and several other firefighters were preparing to load to be transported by helicopter from a ridge near the top of Harris Mountain when he was struck twice by a blade of the helicopter as it was landing.
