  • Obituary:J.B. Hutton, Jr., 77, of Dermott, AR passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2014 in the line of duty, while serving with the Dermott Volunteer Fire Department. He was born September 1, 1937 to the late J.B. Hutton, Sr. and Helen Marie Brookins Hutton. Mr. Hutton was married for 46 years to his wife, Shelby Hutton. He was a lifelong TV repairman. He moved back to Dermott in 1970 and served on the Dermott Fire Department for over 40 years and was currently the Assistant Fire Chief. Mr. Hutton was an avid coin collector and loved refurbishing antique jeeps. He loved spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren.

    He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Shelby Jean Lockhart Hutton; sons, Dave Whittenberg and his wife Susan of Conway, AR, Keith Hutton and his wife Melissa of Monticello, AR; daughters, Pam Greene of Conway, AR and Angela McBride and her husband Brent of McGehee, AR; brother, Herman Hutton of Dermott, AR; sister, Helen Ruth DenHerder of Belmont, Michigan and 9 grandchildren.
