Herbert Lewis Harvey, 22, of Boise, ID, death certificate lists place of death as Idaho City, Boise National Forest

Nolan Warner and Herbert Harvey were entrapped, burned over and died on August 25, 1931, as large lightning-caused fires near Boise, Idaho City and other national forest locations burned actively across a wide front. The two died on a ridge between Pioneerville and the South Fork of the Payette River. The fire spotted behind the fireline and entrapped them between the spot fire and the main fire.
